白思豪介绍接下来四年执政计画 白思豪畅谈接下来四年执政计画市长白思豪(Bill de Blasio)在7日普选以66%的得票率获胜，成功连任，8日他在市府召开记者会，表示非常荣幸能成为32年来首位连任的民主党籍市长，强调在接下来四年里，他会倾尽所有保证纽约市民的权利，尤其会在教育、可负担住房、与市警通力合作方面做出更多成绩。
就可负担住房这一几乎所有纽约客都关心的话题，白思豪指出将会是下一任期的重头戏，他8日上午去布碌仑感谢选民时，与一名单亲母亲交谈，对方说经过多年挣扎，最近幸运抽中一套三室一厅的可负担住房，令她喜极而泣，也终于获得一丝作为纽约市民的安全感。这段对话让白思豪更加感受到住房计画的重要性，表示不仅市府会持续奋斗，他还会向州府施压，通过“豪宅税”(Mansion Tax)和“富人税”(Millionaire Tax)，为更多耆老和低收入者争取可负担住房。
白思豪表示，纽约市的警民关系在全国范围内排名前列，市警在很多危机和重要关卡都彰显出他们的卓越能力，并获得民众的认可，下一个四年任期中，他会继续与市警总局一起推动这一良好关系。教育方面，白思豪今年着力推动“全面学前班”(Pre-K for All)扩展为“全面三岁学前班”(3-K for All)，让更多适龄儿童进入三岁学前班也成为其下一任期的重要任务。
虽然此次选举白思豪遇到不少挑战，但他对未来十分乐观，“三分之二的选票表达出了市民的诉求，大家需要更多改变”。而成为32年来首位成功连任的民主党市长及多个共和党主导的州府都选出民主党籍州长等职位，更说明在川普执政下，很多民众已经醒悟，深觉改变的重要性。
白思豪还指出，此次市长选举中参加投票的选民数量超过四年前，是一个好兆头，他也强调接下来自己会参加更多里民大会，带领纽约市对抗联邦任何不利于纽约市民的决策。
