由蓝天美术馆主办的”拉斯维加斯艺术家水墨画联展”已于6月1日在蓝天文化中心揭开序幕。这次是由著名画家张可可偕维加斯本地的艺术家和艺术爱好者张可可、许宙、徐惠敏、李征、李侃、陈绢江、梅穗、刘一、孙姗姗、谷雨、严秀林、严冬共同展出作品的专场水墨画联展。
蓝天美术馆馆长严冬表示:这是继维加斯油画联展之后的又一艺术盛宴，也是沙漠夏季的又一次绚丽亮相。严冬在开幕时指出:这次的水墨画联展是年初蓝天美术馆成立之后的第三个画展，感谢各界的支持，也谢谢各界的光临指导。随后，张可可、陈绢江也代表参展画家致词，张可可老师表示，非常感谢蓝天中心提供平台，让参展者可以让自己的作品和大家一起切磋交流，陈绢江也提到，蓝天美术馆主办艺术家水墨画联展，是给画家很大的鼓励，也可提升拉斯维加斯整个绘画的水平。
美中文化协会理事长林万发教授在致词时表示，美中文化协会蓝天中心的宗旨，就是在促进美中文化交流，他对于蓝天美术馆主办艺术家水墨画联展，以及艺术家的表现，给予赞美与肯定。林万发教授同时对水墨画也有所阐示，他说:水墨画是国画的一种，也是国画的代表，主要是艺术的表现，比较讲究气韵生动，将诗、字、画溶于一体，这也是国画的特色。
开幕式中的重头戏，是由参展画家集体创作《异墨同趣》画作，首先由画家张可可开笔，接续由各参展画家即席挥毫，在观展来宾的共同观赏见证下，集体创作完成《异墨同趣》画作。
