中国侨网1月31日电 题：这家华人银行花1000万美元打官司，反击美国政府，我们不做替罪羊！
在近日公布的第90届奥斯卡奖提名名单中，有一部叫《国宝银行：小到可以进监狱》(Abacus: Small Enough to Jail)的纪录片入围。
国宝银行是纽约唐人街一家华人社区银行，2008年美国金融危机后成为唯一一家被起诉的金融机构。国宝银行创办者孙启诚为家族及华人名誉而战，历时五年，花费千万美元律师费，最终所有指控全部撤销。
孙启诚祖籍上海，移民美国后他发现，当时美国银行对待华人的原则是，愿意接受他们的存款，却不愿意给他们信用和贷款。
这种不公让孙启诚萌发了开办华人银行的想法，因为中国人认为算盘(Abacus)是国宝，所以他决定将银行叫做国宝银行，致力于为唐人街华人服务。
众所周知，10年前的2008年，美国次贷危机爆发、金融风暴席卷全球。大批美国人失业破产、流离失所，罪魁祸首是华尔街为首的金融机构。
华尔街的大银行，不仅没有受到惩罚，反而得到美国政府的救市。这就是所说的，大银行“大到不能倒”。
而国宝银行，这家开在唐人街，由华人创办的小银行，却被曼哈顿检方推上了被告席，成为2008年金融危机后，唯一被推上审判席的金融机构。
事情起源于国宝银行最先发现贷款部门的一个经理私自挪用客户支票。于是立即开除了涉事员工，并且将事情向联邦银行监管机构做了报告。
本来是银行内部调查的事情，但地检署却以涉事员工的级别已经高到可以指控整个公司为由，将国宝银行告上法庭。
2012年5月31日，曼哈顿地区检察院提起对国宝银行2名主管和9名前雇员诉讼，涉及伪造商业记录、民用贷款欺诈、严重盗窃、串谋等共182项罪名。
而事实呢？
国宝银行将贷款转卖给房利美，房利美不但没有损失，反而大赚了利息。
国宝银行向华人客户发放的3000个房屋贷款中，只有9个倒账，滞欠率远远低于全美平均数。
国宝银行的资产连美国第一大商业银行——美国银行资产的万分之一都不到。这么小的社区银行却要为美国金融危机负责？
这就是纪录片片名——“国宝银行：小到可以进监狱”的由来。
片中提到，特别让人愤慨的是，在逮捕涉嫌欺诈的国宝银行雇员时，华人员工被用手铐铐成一串，像对待奴役的囚犯们一样。
控方还故意让被告都聚在一块，其中有三人其实早已传问结束，已经付了保释金出来等待审问。
事后，就连检察官、司法专家都承认，十多名华人被手铐栓在一起的情况罕见。还有律师看不下去说，如果换作非裔，检察官绝不会这样做。
华人虽是移民，但绝不是任人宰割的羔羊，也不是坐以待毙的替罪羊。
孙启诚表示：这个锅，我们不背！他决定全家总动员，无论付出什么代价，这场官司都要打下去，他们不止是要自证清白，更是要让其他族裔看到华人的力量，“我们没有这么好欺负。”
在检察院工作的女儿，更是辞掉了工作，全力为国宝银行辩护。
整条唐人街的华人也怒了，纷纷出谋划策。
经过5年的庭审较量，陪审团宣布所有指控均不成立，国宝银行最终被判无罪。
孙启诚全家相拥庆祝，激动得流下眼泪。
其实，如果选择妥协、认罪，只需要交600万美元罚款就可以了事。国宝银行却花1000万美元，历尽艰难，用5年的时间，与美国政府打官司。
美国知名纪录片导演詹姆斯听说此事后，用镜头记录了孙启诚一家的抗争历程，拍摄了这部纪录片。
从1880年代美国联邦法律里存在过的唯一一部排挤外国人的法律《排华法案》，到后来的国宝银行一案。华人，为什么总是受到不公正的待遇？
归根到底，胆小怕事、好面子，成为大多数白人对于黄种人的第一印象。
